In our gallery there are two new albums with photos from Sopot Grand Prix of Europe. The first album is from recurve long distance shooting and the second from recurve short distances. Our club member Jacek Dobrzyński was in Polish team squad. Unfortunately he lost his first round with Nikolaj Marusov from Belarus, 156 to 161 points.

In junior category Adam Baś was also second and Robert Barylski won the third place. In team competitions KS "Społem" Łódź was third.
The FITA 43rd World Outdoor Target Archery Championships will be organized in Madrid.
The dates for the championship will be 20. – 26. June 2005.

During the Indoor Poland’s Championships our club has won 3 bronze medals. In women junior category Katarzyna Zakieta, in men junior Jacek Dobrzynski and team Jacek Dobrzynski, Adam Studzinski and Robert Barylski. Our women junior team was fourth
(Marta Gontarska, Magda Pawlowska and Aneta Musidlak).

Over 700 archers competed from the 14th to 16th of January in Nîmes, France, for their Indoor Annual Event. There was some spectacular shooting, especially from the Korean archer Jae-Hun Chung in the men's recurve final when he shot a PERFECT round to defeat Italy's Michele Frangilli (120 vs 118).

Siosifa (Sifa) Taumdepau was named Sportsman of the Year for Tonga in December last year. Sifa represented Tonga at the Athens Olympics. This is a wonderful achievement for archery in Tonga. We would like to congratulate Sifa his achievement! Great job for archery!

On 22th and 23th of January Zgierz were hosting a local indoor test tournament (18m). In juniors Jacek Dobrzyński shot 566 points and Robert Barylski 548. In youngster category first place won Nikinka Jan with result of 507 points.
Polish Junior Indoor Championships will be held in Zgierz in February.

Since the November we have started our preparations for a indoor season. We hope that it will be as good as the last outdoor season. Where we won medals of Polish Championships including first medals since ages on Senior Champs and the title of the First Vice Champion in team competition. Our archers represented Poland on international competitions such like World Junior Champs and Junior Cups.
Jacek Dobrzyński
Our archer Jacek Dobrzynski represented Poland on Internatioanl Cup of Klimuk Memory, 1-3 of October in Brzesc (Belarus). Jacek shot his personal best and unofficial club record 1298 points, 90m- 303, 70m - 327, 50m - 319 and 30m - 349 points. In the elimination round Jacek was 2nd and the first place for Anton Prylepov (BLR) 1299 points. In team competition Jacek Dobrzynski, Tomasz Cis and Grzegorz Zapiór won the bronze medal.

68th Poland Senior Championships were held in Prudnik, it was a very good performance of KS "Społem" Lodz. Our men team won the 4th place. It has been the best result since 1964 when team J. Kanicki, J. Ormowski, M. Smoleń won the bronze medal. What is more in individual competition Jacek Dobrzynski was 5th and Krzysztof Szokal-Egird got the 8th position. Jacek won two medals on distances shooting, silver on 30m and bronze on 70m. We haven't got such good places on Senior Championships for ages.
Jacek Kiełbik was 37, Bolesław Samodulski 47 and Adam Studziński 50.
